The Game of Life, Goal Achievement and the Power of Visualisation

I came across this quote recently:

"We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time."
Vince Lombardi

It reminded of the sad demise of the co-author of "101 Things to do Before You Die", Dave Freeman, who died last week after hitting his head in a fall at his home. He was just 47.

In some media much was made of the fact that he died before he completed his 101 list. I thought to myself that anyone focusing on the goals that Freeman didn't achieve was perhaps missing the point.

We are all in a game - it's a game of life and one day the referee will blow his/her whistle and say:

"Time's up!"

Now, at that point, whether we have won the game of life or whether we have lost will depend on one thing only.

It won't be a question of the goals we did not achieve or even the goals we did achieve. The main question will be:

"Did you play the game of life in full?"

At least Freeman made a list of his goals which is far more than the majority of people do. What's more he had the courage to share his dreams with the world knowing that some people would support and encourage him and celebrate his achievements and victories while others would be critical of what he didn't accomplish.

If you're playing the game of life in full and not simply sitting on the sidelines, then every time your head hits the pillow you will still have a long list of goals yet to achieve. They will become the focus of your dreams whether you are asleep or awake.

Goals don't just give us the motivation to succeed in life. They are the driving force of life itself. So if you haven't made your list of goals yet and written them down then I urge you to do so. You don't have to go so far as to write 101 things that you'd like to achieve. However, if you do find creating such a long list daunting then maybe this is a sign that you are not fully embracing the wonderful gift of life.

By all means start with a smaller list if that feels less overwhelming but be sure to keep updating it as you complete your goals. Treat your life like one magnificent adventure.

The Power of Visualisation

A proven way to help you manifest your goals more rapidly is by using visualisation. Visualisation helps to align you with what you desire in life so that you achieve your goals and dreams faster and easier.

A super effective way to boost your visualisation is through creating a video of your dreams and goals. If you have no experience in creating videos then don't worry because help is at hand.

Two Aussie friends of mine, Ryan and Natalie, have made the process incredibly simple and fun with what they call Mind Movies. In addition, they have even created some generic videos on topics such as wealth, relationships and health that you can download for FREE and start using immediately to transform the quality of your life.

Each movie lasts about couple of minutes. You can watch it on your computer or even download it to your iPod. Watch the movies at least twice a day - first thing in the morning and last thing and night before you go to bed.

If you don't believe that watching a movie for 2 minutes a day can help you achieve your goals all you stand to lose is about 5-6 minutes a days when your brain will be focused on positive thoughts and things that you desire.

However, you stand to gain so much. What would it mean to you to achieve your dreams and goals? So go ahead, click the link below and access your FREE Mind Movies while they are still available. This gift is valued at $234 and is available free for a limited time only.
